We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Breeding & Training Centre of Excellence Capital Campaign! BC & Alberta Guide Dogs is embarking on an exciting new chapter with the aim of establishing a cutting-edge facility dedicated to breeding and training Guide and Service dogs for individuals in BC & Alberta.
Our new centre will serve as a vital hub for breeding, raising, and training Guide Dogs for individuals who are blind or have low vision, Autism Service Dogs for children with autism, and Operational Stress Injury (OSI)-PTSD Service Dogs for Veterans & First Responders. With state-of-the-art facilities and certified instructors, we aim to double our impact, reducing wait times and changing even more lives in our communities.
The campaign kicked off at our recent 16th Annual Ties & Tails Charity Auction & Gala, with further events and initiatives planned to engage the community. We welcome donations of any size, as every contribution will make a significant difference in the lives of those who rely on Guide and Service dogs for independence and mobility.
